I just fired up my trusty rusty TV for a bit of entertainment during dinner... Now, I'm not exactly the world's biggest optimist when it comes to expecting awesomeness from our nation's esteemed broadcast networks, but the following lineup of me-too shows (copying a show I can't even stand, nonetheless) is off-the-charts-stupid:

- ABC: The One: Making a Music Star
- CBS: Rock Star: Supernova
- NBC: America's Got Talent
- FOX: So You Think You Can Dance
Whatever. I'm all for trend-following when the trend isn't mind-numbingly sterile brain candy imitating a has-been dud of a Fox show. Sheesh. I'd take the O'Reilly Frickin' Factor over this crap, and those of you know me know what kind of statement that is.
