Equipment
The theater is built around a 1/4 HD (540x960 resolution) digital front projection system. The projector is ceiling-mounted over the primary seating position, and illuminates a 45" x 80" home made screen with an effective gain of ~1.2. Dolby Digital EX and DTS 6.1 ES Discrete audio decoding into Burr-Brown DACs is provided by a Denon receiver. A matched Energy speaker system with an M&K subwoofer round out the audio path. A high definition TiVo with integrated DirecTV has replaced a number of components previously in the system, such as a standalone TiVo, an OTA HDTV receiver, and an HDTV cable box.

Programming
The HR10-250 DirecTV/TiVo box is the sole source of HDTV material. This receiver decodes both SD and HD material via satellite from DirecTV as well as terrestrial HDTV broadcasts from local TV stations. The channels available in HDTV at the moment are:

In addition to HDTV content, we have an in-house collection of approximately 80 titles on DVD. Please peruse the DVD collection, suggest a movie, and come on by! A steady stream of movies is also arriving via Netflix.

Because I, too, am here to server the loyal carde.com members, I present:

So, I'm not entirely sure I remember how that box left my house and made it across the country. I assume it had something to do with you flying home and needing to pack something. Interesting. Perhaps I should report the box as stolen. :)
